Halloween
Halloween was great. Pippa wore last year's dragon costume, and Rowan was a frog because she grew out of the bumblebee costume we were going to stuff her into. We went to a couple of Halloween parties, and trick-or-treated in our new neighborhood. Both girls had candy for the first time, really, and as Pippa has such a stash still I fear she thinks candy is now a daily activity :(
Rowan's true nature comes out. This was James' costume -- which instead of scaring the girls makes them both laugh. They both insisted on wearing the mask throughout Halloween, and it's still kicking around the living room because they like to model it throughout the day.
Every other week, Pippa has show-and-tell at school. Of course, they had a Halloween theme. This is what she wanted to bring -- one of our Halloween decoration bats with some plastic spiders. When I put these on the show-n-tell shelf, I noticed all of the other items kids' brought in were things like a plastic jack-o-lantern, a stuffed marshmallow-looking ghost, a princess hat from a costume. Oh.

I say keep the Rowan-liquor pics in a separate file -- when she's 21 it'll make a nice calendar :) I was going to do that with H, but couldn't find them all.
